Born from home-cooked tradition and run by passionate people, Beyond The Lumpia Spot is more than a food truck — it’s a bridge between cultures, a flavor escape, and comfort for hungry souls.

A juicy beef patty topped with perfectly fried sunny-side-up eggs, all smothered in savory brown gravy. Served over a bed of steamed white rice, and creamy mac salad.

Beyond The Lumpia Spot started at our wedding, when trays of banana lumpia disappeared faster than we could pass them out. Friends and family kept asking for more, so we began bringing lumpia to church and family events - and every tray was wiped clean. Soon people started order, that's when we knew we had something special.
We formed an LLC, bought a tent, and started selling lumpia only at events across Omaha. The support was amazing. After a year under the tent, we upgraded to our first food trailer and expanded our menu to include Hawaiian plate lunches, inspired by Teariana's Filipino roots and her upbringing in Hawaii.
Today, Beyond The Lumpia Spot shares those same homemade flavors and aloha spirit that started it all - one lumpia at a time,

Beyond The Lumpia Spot is just getting started. The dream is to grow from a beloved local food truck into a community institution — expanding to multiple trailers or a permanent brick-and-mortar location, offering a wider menu while staying true to island comfort, and maybe even packaging frozen lumpia for home kitchens. The ultimate goal: spread the taste of Hawaiian-Filipino fusion beyond Omaha, build community through food, and give more people a reason to smile — one crispy roll at a time.

Sammy is the one who brings every recipe at Beyond The Lumpia Spot to life.
He's the cook behind the trailer, making sure each lumpia is rolled right, every plate is cooked perfectly, and every dish represents his wife's Hawaiian and Filipino roots with pride. When he's not in the kitchen, Sammy also manages the social media - sharing the food, the journey, and the aloha spirit with the community. His focus is simple: make great food, stay consistent, and make sure every customer leaves happy.

Teariana is the heart and flavor behind Beyond The Lumpia Spot. Her Hawaiian and Filipino family recipes are the foundation of everything we serve. While she's not on the grill in the trailer, she's at the window making sure every order looks and tastes the way it's supposed to. From greeting guests to double-checking plates before they go out, Teariana brings the aloha, the quality, and the warmth that define our food. Every dish starts with her family's traditions and her vision for sharing them with the Omaha community.
